A 3D virtual world – Second Life. Simply Amazing!

By chance I came to find this site. I was reading an article about the future of the web and where it will be …say in the next decade. It should be anyone’s guess that it will surely NOT be anything that it is today. What we are living right now would eventually become the virtual world and the web the REAL world! The web has eveloved rather quickly and unless you update yourself frequently you will be left out. It’s only going to be “The Web Way!”.  Thanks to the millions of dedicated developers and the popularity of the Open Web.

Back to this website Second Life. Second Life is a free 3D virtual world imagined and created by its Residents. To get started, you will need to download the Second Life viewer. Once installed, you will be able to walk, “teleport” or even fly to thousands of exciting 3D locations. You can also use voice and text chat to communicate with other real people from around the world.

You should try it. Suppose a group of friends login. You can see each other virtually and chat with them. Fly together, walk, and do all sorts of things. There are a lot of locations you can go. Well you will actually have to try it to feel it. Go ahead and enjoy.
